In The Intruder by Freida McFadden, Casey has a problem going on. But then she discovers a young girl lurking outside. Soon she has more problems than she did before! Freida McFadden is always good. She brings two stories together that are both very good in this book. (Gerard's review, 5++ stars)

"A Model of Devotion" (Book 3 of The Lumber Baron's Daughters) by Mary Connealy
In A Model of Devotion (Book 3 of The Lumber Baron's Daughters) by Mary Connealy, Jillian finally gets married! This book focuses primarily on her getting the bridges built and track laid to complete her father's dream. She is in constant danger though because Carlisle still wants her and marriage isn't going to stop him. Nick is in danger as well since Carlisle has no qualms about killing. I liked this book because the characters are so good and there is a lot of action in this one. Of the three sisters, it's hard to say which one I liked best. They were all good and yet different. I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys historical Christian fiction/romance. (Karen's review, 5 stars)

"Inventions of the Heart" by Mary Connealy
Inventions of the Heart by Mary Connealy is the second in the Lumber Baron's Daughters series and is full of excitement and fighting. This book focuses on the eldest daughter, Michelle who majors in machines and inventions. She finds herself a husband and no just Jilly is single. I am enjoying this series very much and pretty much flying through it. I recommend it to those who enjoy historical Christian romance. (Karen's review, 5 stars)
