In Going Home in the Dark by Dean Kuntz Four kids in a small town are very good friends. Three of them leave, but one stays. He is now in a coma. His three friends come back to see him; however, they must deal with their childhood nightmares they grew up with. I think this book was pretty good with action and an interesting storyline. "The Tenant" by Freida McFadden
In The Tenant by Freida McFadden, Blake gets fired from his job. He needs money because he is getting married soon. His house is beg enough so he takes in a tenant. WOW OH WOW! This book is fantastic!!! I never knew what was going to happen next. I hated to see this one end. This author has an amazingly dark imagination and keeps coming with with fantastic thrillers. "Party of Liars" by Kelsey Cox
Party of Liars by Kelsey Cox is about a girl's sweet 16th birthday party that she and the people who were there will never forget. This book was pretty good and was told by four different characters. It could have used more action, but for a first-time author, not too bad. (Gerard's review, 4 stars)

"Don't Open Your Eyes" by Liv Constantine
In Don't Open Your Eyes by Liv Constantine, Annabelle has dreams about her family, but that is only one of the many storylines in this amazing book! The great storylines keep this book moving along quickly and the characters are true-to-life. The ending made my head spin! I hated to see this one end. (Gerard's review, 5++ stars)

"Whale Fall" by Elizabeth O'Connor
Whale Fall by Elizabeth O'Connor is a short story about a young girl who lives on a remote isle. One day visitors come and she is given a chance to leave her home and everything that she knows. This was okay, a short story with a good ending. (Gerard's review, 4 stars)
