Teaser Tuesday

Then one day trying wasn't enough, so he stripped down to his boxers and sat in the fountain in front of his junior high school.  Then And right there, with his classmates and teachers watching, with the morning sun blinding him, he slowly leaned back until his entire body was underwater.

Falling, with wind whistling and roaring past my head for a short eternity, only to bounce my head against the seat in front of me.  I coughed, spit, and strained for a breath.

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Books and a Beat. Anyone can play along, so I thought  I  would play for fun! Just pick two sentences from the book you are reading.
Happy Reading!

  1. Good teasers! Thanks for sharing them. My Teaser is from Vinegar Girl by Anne Tyler.

  2. Great assortment of teasers. They all sound like interesting books. My teaser this week comes from a soon-to-be-released fantasy - Magic Bitter, Magic Sweet by Charlie N. Holmberg. Happy reading!

  3. +JMJ+

I don't have children yet, but Anna Quindlen captures what I felt when my two youngest brothers (born when I was already a teenager) were still small. I was sure they were different people when I wasn't in the room and I was a little sad that they never let me into that secret world of theirs.

Here is my teaser this week: http://shreddedcheddar.blogspot.com/2016/06/jmj-teaser-of-year-read-other-two.html

Thanks for commenting and happy reading!
