In The Plot by Jean Hanff Korelitz, Jake wanted to write a big best-seller book for a long time, but he found out it wasn't easy. Then one day he is praised as a great writer and is famous. However, fame is fleeting as Jake is about to discover. I thought this book was very good. It has a great storyline and interesting characters. I wish I had The Sequel to read right now!
