Monday Quiz About Us

Here are FOUR QUESTIONS that everyone can answer and then you have the option to add a fifth question of your own for those who are visiting your blog to answer in the comment section, along with commenting on the four standard questions you answered!

1. How often do you shop for groceries? Do you shop in one place or many?
We shop once a week at Giant Eagle.

2. How old were you when you had your first tast of alcohol?
Neither of us have ever tasted alcohol.

3. How much TV do you watch?
We watch football on Saturday and Sunday and a few favorite programs: Joel Osteen, Survivor (Karen), Parenthood, Once Upon a Time (Gerard), Army Wives, ESPN Magazine (Gerard), My Cat From Hell, Bad Dog, sometimes a movie  (Karen).

4. How do you relieve stress?
Gerard goes for a walk or works in the yard. I start singing praises or pet my cats and dog, sometimes listen to relaxing music.

For the 5th question I get to make up: What pets do you have and what are their names?

This blog hop is hosted by Acting Balanced.

  1. It's always fun to learn more about our blogging friends. Looks like the shows you watch and the ones we watch are very similar, we especially like My Cat from Hell.

    1. Aw, you are really missing out on a lot of fun and love! Cats are actually pretty easy, kittens are like having a toddler around.

  3. German Shorthair Pointer named Pepper and a beagle named Stormy because she was found in a storm drain. I had a cat named Inky and her name was picked because she was all black.

You should try the Too Cute episodes on Animal Planet to counter act the Bad Dog and My Cat From Hell episodes lol

    1. Have a nice time with your pets!

We'll have to search for the Too Cute episode and see how we like that. Thanks for the suggestion.

  5. Are you sure you're ready for this? We have a lot of cats. They are named Bobs, Suzie, Drake, Mr. Biglesworth, Smut, Kyle, Big Red, Sarah Caligirl, Susan, Kitty Bee, Charlie, and Mac! Our two dogs are Ethan and Morris, while our rabbit is named Honeybun. Oh, and there's the parakeet named Tweety! I'm a former animal shelter volunteer...

    1. Wow, that sounds like an animal shelter right there! You being a animal shelter volunteer explains it. (No wonder you quit--your house is probably all full!)

  6. I currently have one pet --- a beagle --- her name is Trixy,,, but she is really my daughter's dog (dont' tell her that!) and she was flown here from Germany when my daughter knew she was coming home while her husband was in Afghanistan. It seems that now I will be keeping her for the next two years as well!!!

  9. So, are you two Mormon? I am, but I actually have tasted alcohol. It was an accident, although it did take me awhile to figure out why my virgin pina colada tasted so weird! LOL

As for pets, we have none despite incessant begging from my children. I'm not an animal hater, I just don't like cleaning up extra messes, you know? Besides, we live out in the desert so we always have animals traipsing through our backyard -- rabbits, lizards, birds, prairie dogs, bobcats, etc. That's quite enough animal life for me, thank you very much!

    1. No, we are Baptists if you want a denomination. We both have trusted Jesus Christ as our personal Savior and seek to follow Him.

I see why you don't need any animals to care for with all that wildlife coming through your yard, but a pet brings added fun and love to a home. There are so many nice homeless pets who probably would love to live with you! We think you should reconsider.
