The DH by John Feinstein is about a high school baseball team and the main character, Matt Gordon. Matt is an outstanding player. He is a very good pitcher and even better hitter! The story centers around Matt hitting a batter in the head with the ball in a fit of rage. His friend, Alex, has a dad who is a lawyer. In an effort to restore a good relationship with his son, the lawyer defends Matt in his suspension case.
This book was okay, but I enjoyed the football book much more. (Karen's review, 3 stars)
