"Cop Town" by Karin Slaughter Has Plenty of Action

Cop Town by Karin Slaughter is fiction about two female police officers hunting for a killer—a cop killer!  There is plenty of action in this that kept me turning pages.  The language is a little on the rough side which I did not care for.  However, the twist in the middle of the book turned this into a 5-star read for me and I loved the ending!  I wouldn’t say this is a “must read” but it is well worth reading.

"Unseen" by Karin Slaughter

Unseen by Karin Slaughter continues the relationship between Will Trent, a detective, and Sara Linton, a doctor.  Will goes undercover and Sara gets drawn into the same case he is on much to Will's surprise.  Both are put in mortal danger!

This book goes back and forth in time, and leaves you in suspense.  It's a really good read.  It had just enough action for me and was hard to put down.

Karen was going to read this one until she flipped through it and got turned off by the language.

"Fallen" by Karin Slaughter

Fallen by Karin Slaughter had me asking lots of questions. Faith's mom is taken by what, why and what are they after? What secret does Faith's mom have hidden that she does not want to come out? This is a page turner with a twist I did not see coming. not a "wow" book, but well worth your time to read. I liked Broken by Karin Slaughter better. Here's my teaser:
Like most women, it was rape that had always terrified her, but she knew now that there were far worse dangers. here was at least an animalistic logic to the crime of rape.

From page 163 of Fallen by Karin Slaughter.
