"Heaven Is For Real" by Todd Burpo with Lynn Vincent

Heaven Is For Real tells the story of a little boy named Colton.  He was very sick and told his parents that he went to heaven for three minutes and then Jesus sent him back as an answer to his dad’s prayers.  His dad is a pastor and his wife a Sunday School teacher.  I’ll let you decide if Colton really went to heaven or not.  It’s a good Easter read!  I think he did.

  2. I reviewed this book on Bookvisions and although I wanted to like this book, I didn't. The way the book describes the situation, he either died and none of the MDs or nurses noticed or he went to heaven without dying.

  3. One of my sixth grade students highly recommended this book on Friday, but an adult blogger who reviewed it didn't like it. Maybe it depends on your life experience. Thanks for the review.

  4. It is exciting to read, you can sense the feelings of the parents in the live drama and the testimony of the child as it was collected from fragments of his memory.
