"The Crash" by Freida McFadden

In The Crash by Freida McFadden, Tegan is a young lady who can barely support herself and is going to have a baby soon.  However, there is a plan in place that will take are of everything.  Unfortunately, in life plans to not always work out as Tegan is soon realizes.  This author is a master storyteller!  This is a great book!  I loved the storyline which had lots of action and the characters.  (Gerard's review, 5++ stars)

"What Have You Done?" by Shari Lapena

What Have You Done? by Shari Lapena has lots of action.  In a small town, a young teen girl is found dead in a field.  Someone killed her!  That does not happen in this town.  Who did it and why?  I thought this book was very good.  I liked the storyline with lots of action and cared about the characters.  (Gerard's review, 5 stars)

"The Spite Game" by Anna Snoekstra

In The Spite Game by Anna Snoekstra, Ava was bullied all through high school (which I can relate to) but now it is payback time.  How will she do it and what will the results be?  I thought this book was pretty good.  Ava was a great character but would have liked more action.  (Gerard's review, 4 stars)

"The Last Room on the Left" by Leah Konen

In The Last Room on the Left by Leah Konen, Kerry's life is not good.  Her husband left her.  She is back to drinking and she has a big money deal if she can finish a book.  However, she has writer's block.  She decides to get  job at a motel in nomans land.  That will be the trick.  Is she right or dead wrong?  This book has a good storyline and good characters.  It needed a bit more action in my opinion, but overall was a good read.  (Gerard's review, 4 stars)

"Aiming for Love" by Mary Connealy (Book 1 - Brides of Hope Mountain)

In Aiming for Love by Mary Connealy, Jo, Illsa and Ursula are three sisters living alone up on Hope Mountain in Colorado.  They are good hunters and know the woods around their cabin very well.  When Jo spots some cowpokes, their lives change!  This book is full of adventure and lots of interpersonal relationships, but seems to have lots of loose ends.  I liked Jo, but the story was very predictable.  It's a good light read that kept my attention.  I enjoyed the book.  (Karen's review, 4 stars)

"You Will Remember Me" by Hannah Mary McKinnon

In You Will Remember Me by Hannah Mary McKinnon, a man wakes up on a beach.  How did he get there?  He does not know who he is!  He needs to get back to his hometown.  But when he turns he finds there are more questions than answers!  This is good stuff!  It has a good storyline and the characters are brought out really well!  (Gerard's review, 5 stars)

"The Guest" by B. A. Paris

In The Guest by B. A. Paris, Iris and Gabriel come home to find their friend, Laurie, in their house.  She wants to stay for awhile.  They agree, but "awhile" turns into longer than they ever thought.  This book is pretty good.  It has a good storyline and I liked the characters.  It went a bit slow, but has a very good ending so worth the read.  (Gerard's review, 4 stars)

"Never Lie" by Freida McFadden

In Never Lie by Freida McFadden, Tricia and Ethan go to look at a house in the middle of a snowstorm.  Ethan loves the place; Tricia not so much, until she finds a secret room!  What is in the secret room?  Do they buy that house or move on?  

The great thing about this book is that you get two really good stories.  Freida McFadden is a master storyteller.  Good luck in figuring how this book ends!  (Gerard's review, 5++ stars)
