"The Divorce" by Freida McFadden is Wild!

The Divorce by Freida McFadden is a good book for a book club to discuss.  There are 11 questions at the end of it.  As always, Freida's books are so very good.  In this one, a couple gets a divorce after having a son.  The husband kicks out the wife.  Will she accept that and move on or not?  What a story!  I was engaged throughout and surprised at the twist I did not see coming.  Freida's books do not let you go till the very end!  (Gerard's review, 5++ stars)

"It's Not Her" by Mary Kubica

It's Not Her by Mary Kubica is really good!  A woman finds the body of her brother and siter-in-law dead.  Her niece is nowhere to be found.  Is she missing or is there more than that?  This is a great story with plenty of action.  (Gerard's review, 5++ stars)

"Do Not Disturb" by Freida McFadden

In Do Not Disturb by Freida McFadden Quinn is on the run.  She is forced to move into Baxter Motel.  She will make her plans there, or will she?  This is really good!  I flew through this one, hard to put it down!  The writing is great and kept my interest all the way through it.  Highly recommend Freida McFadden's books, they are all so good!  (Gerard's review, 5++ stars)

"Too Old For This" by Samantha Downing" Was Better Than I Expected!

In Too Old For This by Samantha Downing, Lottie is old now and wants to put her past behind her.  However, the past has a way of catching up with you.  When it does, Lottie does what she does best.  What is that?  You will have to read this book to find out.  This book was far better than I thought it would be!  I hated to see it end.  Highly recommend this one!  (Gerard's review, 5++ stars)

The Widow's Husband's Secret Lie by Freida McFadden

The Widow's Husband's Secret Lie (a satirical novella) is a really good short book by my favorite author, Freida McFadden.  It appears that Alice has the perfect marriage, but no she doesn't!  Although this is a short book, it has many twists and turns and even humor that is quite entertaining. "The Idaho Four--An American Tragedy" by James Patterson and Vicky Ward

The Idaho Four by James Patterson and Vicky Ward is a fantastic read about the murder of four college students at the University of Idaho.  Through lots of exclusive interviews, James Patterson and journalist Vicky Ward present their findings in this book that reads like a novel.  I am not a fan of James Patterson, but this was hard to put down.  He writes about the four heartbroken families and the the brilliant grad student and loner, Bryan Kohberger, who was indicted for their murders and facing trial.  This book is fantastic!  I would recommend this one for a book club.  (Gerard's review, 5 stars)

"Going Home in the Dark" by Dean Kuntz

In Going Home in the Dark by Dean Kuntz Four kids in a small town are very good friends. Three of them leave, but one stays. He is now in a coma. His three friends come back to see him; however, they must deal with their childhood nightmares they grew up with. I think this book was pretty good with action and an interesting storyline. "King of Ashes" by S. A. Cosby

In King of Ashes by S. A. Cosby, Roman gets a call that his father is in a coma and he better come quick.  When he arrives, he finds his family is in bad financial shape and his brother and sister have big personal problems.  It is up to Roman to put this family back together.  This is good stuff--a good storyline with action!  (Gerard's review, 5 stars)

"Kill for Me Kill for You" by Steve Cavanagh

"Raised by Wolves" by James Patterson

In Raised by Wolves by James Patterson, two children are caught by the law.  They are dressed in rags and their parents are nowhere to be found. Soon it becomes obvious that they were raised by wolves!  I think this could have been better.  The storyline was okay.  (Gerard's review, 3 stars)

"With a Vengeance" by Riley Sager

In With a Vengeance by Riley Sager, Ana wants revenge on the people who killed her family members.  How is she going to do it and will it work?  You will have to read the book to find out!  This book is FANTASTIC!  I did not know what was going to happen next all through it.  This is one of my all-time top ten books for this year at least.  I highly recommend you read this one!  (Gerard's review, 5++ stars)

"Whistle" by Linwood Barclay

In Whistle by Linwood Barclay, Annie has had a rough year.  Her publisher finds her and her son a house in an out-of-the-way place, a small town in upstate New York.  Now Annie can get back to doing what she does best--writing books!  I have read a few books by this author, but this one is by far his best!  It is filled with twists and turns with plenty of action which is why I enjoyed it so much.  I always looked forward to reading it and had to force myself to put it down so it would last longer.  Stephen King said this one was "Terrific" which made me want to read it.  He was right!  (Gerard's review, 5++ stars)
