"King of Ashes" by S. A. Cosby

In King of Ashes by S. A. Cosby, Roman gets a call that his father is in a coma and he better come quick.  When he arrives, he finds his family is in bad financial shape and his brother and sister have big personal problems.  It is up to Roman to put this family back together.  This is good stuff--a good storyline with action!  (Gerard's review, 5 stars)

"The Poppy Fields" by Nikki Erlick

I needed a change of pace so read The Poppy Fields by Nikki Erlick.  In this novel, people are dealing with grief by going to sleep for a month or perhaps two.  Does it work?  The storyline is good and I enjoyed the characters.  (Gerard's review, 4 stars)

"Not Quite Dead Yet" by Holly Jackson

In Not Quite Dead Yet by Holly Jackson, Jet is a young woman who has never been able to follow through to the end on something that she has started.  She gets another chance!  Is this her last one?  This book is really good!  Jet is a great character and it is action packed.  What a great surprise ending too!  (Gerard's review, 5++ stars)

"The Perfect Couple" by Elin Hilderbrand

In the Perfect Couple by Elin Hilderbrand, it was supposed to be a weekend to remember the weddings of the year on a beautiful island.  You will need to wear your reading cap for this one because there are lots of characters and storylines to follow with good action at times and a surprise ending!  (Gerard's review, 5 stars)

"Kill for Me Kill for You" by Steve Cavanagh

In Kill for Me, Kill for You by Steve Cavanagh, two women meet up at a bar by chance.  They find that they have a lot in common.  They come up with a plan to help each other.  What is that plan and can they pull it off?  This book was much better than I thought it would be.  It has good action and great characters.  (Gerard's review, 5++ stars)
