An Invisible Thread by Laura Schroff and Alex Tresniowski is the true story of Laura, a white sales executive, befriending a black 11-yr-old panhandler, Maurice. This is a great book about friendship. Maurice is very likable and Laura tells the story very well. It is a feel-good story with a happy ending. "An Invisible Thread” is a beautiful story of friendship that kept me entranced until the last word! The unlikely relationship between Ms. Schroff and Maurice is one that I remember forever.
