Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along, so I thought I would play for fun! Just do the following
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title and author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teaser.
Betsy looked up at him, her gaze sharp and assessing. "Maybe it's because of that fight you had. When you said you didn't love her anymore."From page 247 of Home Front by Kristin Hannah.
Karen's:
"Something weird is happening. My math study group . . . there were just three of us, plus the teacher. They all just disappeared."From page 3 of Gone by Michael Grant.

Now I wonder where they've Gone!
ReplyDeleteI finished the book today and still don't know!
DeleteI need to read Gone! I started it but didn't have time to finish it before I had to return it to the library. So freaky if all the adults disappeared. And the other teaser was great too. If he said he didn't love her anymore I bet that did cause some tension. Thanks for visiting My TT!
ReplyDeleteI read GONE on the Kindle through library loan.
DeleteHmmm now I want to know where they've disappeared....
ReplyDeleteSo do I!
DeleteI haven't read either of these novel, though your teasers so very intriguing and mysterious, so now I wish I had!
ReplyDeleteWanna check out my Teaser?
Both of those leave many intriguing questions. Where have they gone?
ReplyDeleteI finished the book and still don't know!

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by SunnyReads!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I picked that teaser because it was so evocative, I promise it's not as gruesome as it sounds- just very very evocative.
ReplyDeleteGreat teasers though! I Especially like the Gone one. Very....teasing!
That many disappearing is more than weird! Good teasers.
ReplyDeleteIf you like weird, this is a good book for you!
DeleteI find your teasers interesting and I'm going to search for them on my kindle. Thanks for stopping by my blog!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked our teasers. I read GONE on my Kindle for free through library loan.
DeleteThe first one sounds like a bad situation all around. Those were some very hurtful words!
ReplyDeleteThe second one sounds like quite a mystery indeed!

Gerard finished HOME FRONT and said it's really good. I'll be reading it too. His review of it will be up Thursday and my review of GONE will be up tomorrow. It's mysterious all right!
DeleteWow! The teaser for GONE really piqued my interest.
ReplyDeleteHere's my TT.
Nice teasers! If the math teacher also disappeared, does that get the narrator out of math class? Hmm, I wish that happened when I was in school!! LoL
