Teaser Tuesdays: 3 This Week

Gerard's:

If I hadn't been so worried for Merle, the scene would have been comical:  a fifty-five-pound dog taking on a two-thousand-pound bison.  The bison promptly hooked at him again, brushing Merle's left hip with his horn, and then, having become annoyed at this gadfly, charged.

From page 78 of Merle's Door--Lessons from a Freethinking Dog by Ted Kerasote. (See my review posted Sunday.)

I can't believe you would even ask.  I'm not some science experiment, you know.
From page 25 of Identity by Ingrid Thoft.

Karen's:
I've been following her for the last few days.  I know where she buys her groceries, where she has her dry cleaning done, where she works.
From page 39 of The Good Girl by Mary Kubica.

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should  Be Reading. Anyone can play along, so I thought  I  would play for fun!
    Happy Reading!

  6. Oooh, cool teasers all around. But I'm especially curious/worried about the 3rd one. That sounds really creepy. Of the three, I'd probably be most likely to read the first one! Thanks for sharing!
